Bush is INSANE if he thinks he can fight a 2 front war - Iran and Iraq.
One of the biggest beefs I have with Bush is his stupidity in starting the Iraq war and getting us bogged down there when there are other, worse threats. BushCo are criminally incapable of thinking through the consequences of their actions, and they repeatedly underestimate the difficulty in military action.

Lets say that Iran really is a major US threat. With the military being overextended already in Iraq, what the heck does Bush have left to deal with Iran? The only solution he has is to reinstitute the draft. Hitting Iran under the current circumstances would place us in such a horrible security situation that starting up the draft in order to fight off the threat is just about the only thing Bush can do. Even if he does that - where's the materiel support going to come from? We're getting equipment blown to bits left and right. But I can still envision Bush sending troops without equipment to fight his Armageddon wars - cannon fodder in truth. And Bush continuing to insist that his tax cuts are appropriate in the circumstances. Bush is INSANE.

Even if Bush uses nukes on Iran (which I personally think he's crazy enough to do) it won't wipe out enough infrastructure and sympathizers to keep the violence from escalating. If he hits Iran, Syria and Lebanon will erupt, and maybe Indonesia and some other predominently Muslim countries. And if Iran gets the sympathy of the entire Muslim population of more than 1 billion, we're screwed. We're talking WWIII here. The only option we have at that point is WWII style fighting, with all ethics regarding civilians out the window. And an even bigger question - would the world abandon us to fight all alone? Or join with the other side rather than stay neutral?

Bush is totally and completely INSANE!!! He's so blind and determined to do whatever he wants that he ignores all sense and reason. I believe Bush would hit Iran with no thought whatsoever as to the consequences to our country.

That's what scares the sheet out of me.

FYI, here's the latest on Bush's plans for Iran:

2. 3 front war...because he's also declaired one on the
Constitution and the American people. Most of whom are just too hypnotized to realize it yet. (which after 5 years is astonishing)

4. Not only a 2 front war, but NEXT to each other!
It would be like expanding the Iraq was by 3 or 4 times since Iran is so much bigger and has sooo many more people!

The other thing everyone needs to remember is that there's no more reason to trust the Intelligence now than there was in the past when it was ALWAYS WRONG!

5. Well, it could easily be done, if it was of VITAL NATIONAL INTEREST,
that was obvious to everyone, to do so. Because people would sign up, and would support a draft if needed, and pay tax money to support something that was obviously vital.

That's not the "no sacrifice for anyone but military families" scenario that's playing out now.

9. I thought he'd be insane to invade Iraq.
I honestly didn't believe he'd do it -- though I was not seeing much news those months so I missed the propaganda parade.

I remember arguing with some Republicans, telling them that it would be a bloodbath, and they laughed at me. They thought Iraq *wanted* to be invaded.

Now I believe the Bushies will do anything at all.

15. He better stick to something he can handle. Like mighty Grenada.
The much vaunted US military is doing such a grand job in Iraq of bungling and displaying to the world their ineffectiveness, that it's hardly a wonder that other 3rd world nations are no longer afraid of the "world's only super power".

...it'll be profitable. That's all that matters to him. He's not stupid, he's not incompetent, he's not insane. When are you going to realize that he's focused SOLELY on maximizing profits and consolidating powers for the Bush** Crime Family?

It's that simple.

I don't understand how anyone can look at
his actions and not come up with the same conclusion.

I also think he loves starting wars, relishes the death of innocents.

We are completely unprepared to fight one war, let alone three (Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran).

28. It's not just Bush.
If it were only the one man, that would be one thing. He's just the front. The rest of the PNAC bunch are the ones who are going to continue on this path, regardless.

I am with Seymour Hersh; the government has been taken over by a cult.

It is because these crazy people can't believe they will ever lose at anything. So they eventually take on too much.

Iran too... oh and don't forget the saber rattling toward other countries like N. Korea, etc. He truly is a total socio-pathetic psychotic nut and if the Congress continues to allow him to drag us into these "wars" that are not officially "wars" they're all certifiable and should be locked up for the safety of Earth and all living things.
