1. Lou beats the capitalist drum sometimes, but I think
he's right on regarding the decline of the middle class and outsourcing.

11. This is true
Outsourcing is killing our middle class. And China is Communist. My son had an english assignment last year, Christmas in China. Problem is, there is no true freedom of religion in that country. They hide in houses to worship. Also, China has banned the Dali Lama on the google search. I helped him research for the tibits out there for his paper, even spoke with his teacher, she just couldn't understand that China is communist. He got a D on the paper.
Wish he got one of the sweeter assignments like Christmas in Sweden, or Holland, or any number of the funner places.

12. Well, thats a good question.
I'd say they have a neo-Imperial government.

They have private industry, but only by charter. People there get RICH, but only those favored. And the poor get poorer. And there is massive corruption waste and inefficiency.

All-in-all it looks like a dynasty of the type they had 300 years ago, and not at all like the communism that Marx would recognize, or even Chairman Mao!

14. I was going to say something similar
but you pretty much nailed it on the head. While there are government owned industries, they are loosing money. The age of the Iron Rice Bowl is no more.

16. China is using all the money our US corporations
has outsourced to build a military second to none. In the future we will probably end up dealing with that giant military. Nevermind what the outsourcing has done to the middle class in this country.
