I just realized that Ed Wuncler and Gin Rummy are George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld. The characters are even drawn to look like the Chimp and the Angel of Death. That is classic, Ed Wuncler even has a big jewel encrusted "W" necklace. Perfect, two immature gun loving terrorists who worship violence, gun culture and lawlessness. On the animated series Ed and "Rummy" are accountable to nobody, everybody fears them and when they get in trouble they get their rich father to bail them out. Man, I love 'The Boondocks'.

4. It's really obvious in the episode with the "x-box killer" |

The one where Ed Wuncler and Gin Rummy hold up the gas station. If you didn't catch on before, when you watch it again, you'll have a whole new appreciation for the episode...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boondocks_(television_series) could be seen as a parody of a young George W. Bush, painted in broad strokes -- an ineffectual draft dodger destined to be president on the strength of his family's wealth and power, despite his sub-average intelligence. Additionally, his friend and former soldier Gin Rummy, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, can be seen as a parody of Donald Rumsfeld, in name, appearance, and use of actual quotes (and his name is usually shortened to just "Rummy", like Rumsfeld).
