1. I notice the FReeper was nice enough to correct Bill's flub

"But remember, MI-6 in Britain"

That's not what he said. He said, "M-One-Six."

For those who don't want to wander over there, some excerpts: (typos etc left intact)

David Letterman is a loser. Jay Leno continues to cream him in the ratings. He should crawl into his hole with his cabana piano man and they can enjoy eachothers company.

I like Letterman but he should be very careful.
This could finish him!

Lettermen is just being the good little biy whore he is and saying what his paymasters at See-BS require him to say. He is irreverent. It's See-BS. No one is even watching him. Rush Limbaugh and the other 3 major Radio talk show hosts talk, in any single 15 mins segment, to more people then watch Letterman ALL week.

Who's this David Letterman fella?
Sounds like a commie-pinko traitor.

Don't know why O'Reilly or any other thinking human being would allow themselves to act as the foil for this frustrated misanthrope. Sympathy for Sheehan expired after the first tearful rant.

I do think that people who are "artistic" in the entertainment sense have a genetic predisposition to be traitorous commie pinko a$$holes.

Please tell me that Bill let this AQ-sympathising POS have it with both barrels...this transcript makes it sound like Letterman was unloading and getting the upper hand???
38 posted on 01/03/2006 9:39:00 PM PST by FlashBack (When I grow up I wanna be a coWboy.)

Letterboy is just another liberal punk who would shit all over himself if he ever had to lace up a pair of combat boots and jump off a chopper into a combat zone.

And a debate about war and combat between O'Reilly(another MIA during the Viet Nam war) and Letterboy is laughable.

I guess Letterboy and his fans would have preferred if my fellow Marines had found the WMD in their laps when they entered Baghdad! As far as I'm concerned, we FOUND THE WMD the day we captured Saddass Hussein!

Every FReeper knows that the Draft Dodger Clinton and the rest of the Lefties are on record for removing Saddass Hussein; so let's not try and rewrite history here...

He's a Late Night show host who adores our enemies. He has a Fag on the Piano and he is rarely funny.

In short... Just another bitter Liberal

That should end it though. Firing on our pilots was an act of war. And Hussein didn't do it just once but literally thousands of times. 9/11 taught us, or should have taught us, that when someone declares war on you either by word or deed, you have no choice but to respond in kind. The invasion of Iraq in 2003 was simply a response to that new or, more accurately, old reality.

When Dave said something about 60% of what O'Reilly says is crap Paul chimed in "60? You think?" and looked all thoughtful like he was trying to determine the exact proportion of crap which expels out of Billy-boy's piehole.

Priceless.

They are highly paid "journalists" (I use the term very loosely) who are only interested in skewing the news to reflect and support an ultra-conservative viewpoint.

3. They might learn that the UK and the US put up no fly zones
over Iraq after desert storm on their own. I saw a post that said Iraq shot at our pilots. Ah, it was their air space, not ours.

Their distortions go on forever. Letterman hit O'Reilly with reality. O'Reilly ran in hopes of a better day to write more books and have more phone sex.

But since it's got the Freeper's panties in a wad we'll check it out when it comes on here on the Left Coast. Thanks for the heads up.

Carson loved Letterman, and sent Dave jokes, AND dave did the last one Johnny sent him, in tribute to Carson. Why does that fweeper miss Carson? BTW, I miss Carson - a lot. Interesting that Leno, who replaced Carson, wasn't the one who Carson sent jokes to, isn't it?

It sickens me how these dolts think they can simply define who is "media" and who isn't. Letterman is media, but O'Reilly isn't? And, O'Reilly is constantly braying about his ratings. Well, that would mean MEDIA RATINGS. The level of idiocy displayed at FR is really depressing. It would be funny if these buffoons didn't actually think they were smart.
