Saying NOPE to GOP

URGED TO APPLY -- The Republicans also encouraged the following cities to apply for 2008: Anaheim, Calif.; Atlanta; Boston; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Columbus, Ohio; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Los Angeles; Kansas City, Mo.; Memphis, Tenn.; Miami; Minneapolis; Nashville, Tenn.

Also, New Orleans; New York; Orlando, Fla.; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Pittsburgh; Portland, Ore.; Sacramento, Calif.; San Antonio; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle; St. Louis; and Tampa, Fla.


to date: Seattle, Chicago, San Diego and the state of Indiana have said...ummm No thanks....

perhaps they should outsource it to Iran? Iraq? Syria? United Arab Emirates? Afghanistan? or just give Abramoff a get out of jail free card and have him make the arrangements...

I think Mexico is the getting the contract for US Border Security - so they'll be able to prevent US protestors from crossing

If the Neo-CON terrorists think they're such wonderful places let them hold it there and let them all stay there... and throw away the key to the "rooms" where Bush, Cheney, Rummy and the rest of his cabal of butt kissers are staying.

The facilities are small, but there are adequate rooms. After all, if there is any justice left in this country, that's where most of them will end up. Let them check it out beforehand.
