Went to Democratic rally in Northeast Texas yesterday
Our local State Representative won after a heated race with a Republican candidate last election.
He is facing the same candidate again, and he said (paraphrased) that last time he sat by while he and his family was smeared. But no more. If they start the smear campaign again, he is going after them with everything he has. He won't stand for it another time.
THIS is what I want to hear more of. We need to stop being the whipping boy of the Republican party.
Fight them back.

1. Surely he will have an easier time of it this time
Republicans have a LOT of strikes against them, including the albatross of Bush around their necks.

4. Donna Howard put TX 48 back in the Dem column (for now)
But looking at the returns we see that Bob Perry and his buddies anted up $86.00 per vote in an unsuccessful attempt to buy this district. They went negative early and often here too. It was the second successive campaign I have seen them attempt to sully the nicest people.
