Libby in court today .....
Are there any DUers in the area who are planning to head towards the federal court house to attend the Libby hearing? I think it is open to the public.

2. Wish I could.
David Shuster said it should be brief. I assume both Hardball and Countdown will feature his reporting tonight.

Unfortunately, I spent my day 2500 miles away from the fun. (Then again, I'm sure America's Hottest Prosecutor, not to mention the judge, probably wouldn't have appreciated my hoots of derisive laughter over Libby's lack of a defense...)

5. a waste of time. this motion will be shot down like a GOP lawyer in texas
There was a case couple of decades ago involving Nixon with the same issue. The SUpremes ruled overwhelmingly that the special prosecutor was properly appointed. I forgot the cite, but I believe it was Nixon v. ______

9. Schuster said on Abrams that judge was leaning
NO on PDB's, Yes on Notes, unsure on the motion to dismiss. Is that what you've heard so far?

11. I think that the PDBs
and some of the other documents that Team Libby requested, that the media tends to lump in with the PDB, are a NO. The notes are going to be, but I don't think that was as big a conflict as TL pretended. The motions to dismiss are not considered serious, so far as I can tell.

12. Two Words
Family Jewels!

And from here the entire proceedings slide into farce. though I must say Judge Reggie Walton surprised me with his, "Oh get out of here rulings"
