I don't think his family can prevent people from picketing him. Of course, I'm not a lawyer, so I could be wrong about that. But I have been a stalking victim and there's a big diff between stalking and picketing. I think a group could picket him whenever he's picketing and be covered under their own free speech rights.

As I understand it, FAZs were first used during Clinton's administration to allow protesters of family-planning clinics to protest while not blocking access for those who wanted to enter the buildings.

Of course, FAZs have been abused during Bush regime by placing anti-Bush demonstrators blocks away from the Chimp's appearances.

So why not confine Fred and his ilk to a FAZ blocks away from the funeral?
