Bush chooses posh tailor from India to "drape him in Western outfits"
Note: this is not satire.

NEW DELHI, FEB 25: The first family of the United States has chosen Grover Tailors in Delhi's posh Khan Market to drape President George Bush in western outfits.

The US President, who is visiting India from March 2-5, will have a customised couturier at his beck and call 24 hours. Designs from the White House (probably of Laura, Jenna and Barbara Bush) have been forwarded in advance and the tailors are working extra hours to deliver on time....

The couturier will be given a room at The Maurya Sheraton, the luxury hotel where Mr Bush will be staying. Suits will be delivered within 24 hours of the order. It's not only the President but other top officials like Condoleezza Rice and Donald Rumsfeld, expected to accompany the President, will also be provided luxury costumiers.

On the 12th floor in the embassy control room in Maurya there is also a notice for other officials who want to avail of this service.

1. Real shitkickers, but
tell me, people who know cowboy boot custom--has the flood come with those pants or are they that short to display the boot?

11. Hee Hee
This is just WRONG.

I do horse and cowboy stuff and I have never ever ever seen boots worn like that. His pants just must be that short because he is 1) an idiot (yes) 2) is not a real cowboy and probably has never really know one (yes) or 3) to show off his presidentin seal on his boots (yes)

Cowboys scrunch over their jeans because when you ride you want that extra material to keep the brush from getting up your pants legs. There may be other reasons but from experience I do know that they are helpful long and scrunched.

He looks like a total idiot but then that is nothing new. Just another fake cowboy, just another of his affectations.

Bush wouldn't want to be caught in a monsoon without his high-water pants and waterproofed cowboy-boots, now would he? :D

43. Never wear brown boots with black pants!
Duh. You can wear any color with jeans, but with black wool slacks you have to wear your black boots.

Why can't he just throw them in a garment bag and take them along? He needs brand new suits custom-made within 24 hours, when he's only going to be there for three days? :wtf:

6. Dressing the Emperor
So, the tailor cuts, drapes, checks...only air. Chimp is puzzled...he doesn't see anything; in fact, he looks naked to himself. But the tailor and his assistants are admiring...telling him he looks like the leader of the world, and so handsome the women will be eating out of his hand! They're so sure of themselves, and more important, they flatter him, so Chimp smiles widely and thanks them for his wonderful new suit.

So, Chimpy marches proudly to the first state dinner, sure that his new suit enhances his power and his manhood.

Will there be a little child pointing out that he has no clothes?

13. Satanic!
That photograph is just plain Satanic! I don't think I have seen
a scarier photo of our dear leader than that! I guess its the black
overcoat, satin striped pantleg, Black eye glasses, white stetson blood
red boots...he looks like a freak out of a bad horror flick!

Can someone enlarge the things he holds in his hands? I would not be
surprised if it wasn't Aleister Crowley or the Satanic Bible.

But wait!...Now he is starting to remind me of an old queen! You know
one of those vicious old girls that used to be such lovely 'bottoms'
but now are way too old to party or attract the kind of ...oh
never mind...I am just terrified!

They'll take jobs from everything else.

And, quite frankly, their booming economy means they need more Boeing personal aircrafts, televisions, and to indulge their tastes in "American Pizza"... (sorry, paraphrasing and quoting an article I read a few days ago that was as brash as anything I could think of...)

21. Is it that Indian tailor who puts ads in US papers promising to
"Drape the discerning US executive in the finest closely fitted Western attire" and promising the end of the "ill-fitting American suit" thanks to the miracle of outsourcing and on-time delivery? If only they could outsource the office of the Presidency to India, come over once every 4 years, take polls, return to India and select an appropriate President.

34. Drugstore Cowboy
We had over 1000 head of hereford and agnus, the only time my dad and grandpa wore a cowboy hat was when they got all dressed up because we were taking the cattle to the sale.

This idiot never grew up. He is like my four year old playing cowboy!

George, there is an unwritten cowboy rule....

Once you have been a male cheerleader, you are officially banned from every being a cowboy. It is in the bylaws. Even the guys on BrokeBack Mountain knew you can't be a cheerleader AND a cowboy.

"Where hustle's the name of the game
And nice guys get washed away like the snow and the rain
There's been a load of compromisin'
On the road to my horizon
But I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on me

Like a Rhinestone cowboy
Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo
Like a Rhinestone cowboy
Getting cards and letters from people I don't even know
And offers comin' over the phone"

yee-haa
