Seems to me that the news coverage went on.....and on.....and on.....

Not to knock the hurricane or anything--Bu$hCo's reaction was disgusting, and NOLA will probably never be the same--but Katrina utterly dominated the news for about 2 weeks here in Maine, and we still get blurbs on it now.

5. People Are Still Homeless Today Along the Gulf Coast
Where's the recovery? Where's the money? What about the rebuilding? There are still people missing. Come on.

NOLA is still a mess. People are still homeless, jobless, forced to pay huge insurance debts.
