Mouth-droppings from Tweety at a recent live event
Edited on Sun Feb-26-06 11:21 AM by UTUSN
Tweety's latest have-a-beer-with-Shrub crap: "KERRY - would he stop and help me change a flat tire?" Would SHRUB, Tweety? He would throw you a finger out his limo and shake his shoulders with psychopathic giggling, the way he does while hundreds of thousands are dying BECAUSE OF HIM.

TALK OF the town was the "Friends of 21" breakfast, where VIPs from Mario Cuomo to Ed Koch to GOP power broker Bill Plunkett to TV's Richard Leibner to Bill O'Shaughnessy gravitate semimonthly. The speaker was the rambunctious "Hardball" talker Chris Matthews. ....

On John McCain: "He has unbelievable numbers . . . integrity, independence. But he lives off the fat of the land with respect to issues. And he wakes up in the morning thinking how can I screw George W. Bush . . . McCain has a moral edge over all of us. He served in Vietnam, and we didn't. But he's forgiven us for it. He's our savior." ....

On Rudy Giuliani: "In every poll of regular Republicans, he leads the field. In every one . . . The world is a global pinball machine these days. We need someone who can react quickly and keep his eye on the ball. Rudy is the most imperfect candidate. But perhaps the most perfect for president. He's plugged in."

On Arnold Schwarzenegger: "Arnie is coming back. His ratings have climbed, and they're heading for the 40s. He's starting to appoint a lot of Democrats. Maria has a lot to do with that. The guy he's running against is mainly just a fund-raiser."

On Al Gore: "I love his wife, his daughter, but you can't show up every six months and issue a manifesto! I think he could come back, but he needs to join the human race."

On the two most important questions in politics: " 'Does he care about people like me?' and 'If I had a flat tire, would he stop to help me?' . . . That I think is where John Kerry came up short. And probably Hillary doesn't do so well on that one, either."

10. Not to mention
The flat is from faulty tires made by firestone who knew about they were defective and sold them to you anyway, and they had the blessing to do so from our representatives who sold us out under the guise of de-regulation.

18. NONE of the Repubs PHYSICALLY risked their lives for others like Kerry did
Edited on Sun Feb-26-06 03:12 PM by blm
Not even McCain. McCain didn't put himself in harm's way in an effort to save another man's life. He was a prisoner, yes, but rarely actually went to battle before that. Kerry, specifically, risked his life for others MANY times.

THAT is how wrong Tweety is with his analogy.

11. I'd love never to mention him again, but so long as he's out there
spewing his CRAP, we have to track him. As for McCAIN:

5. Kerry would be the FIRST person to help change a tire. Matthews KNOWS that
himself, but he needs to do the job his corporate masters are paying him for - keep Republicans propped up.

Giuliani thanked god for a president who REFUSED to read the HartRudman Report on Global Terror that was handed to him on Jan 30, 2001 - thank god, because had a REAL president read it, then 9-11 wouldn't have happened and Rudy wouldn't be as famous and wealthy as he is today.

6. I watched Meet the Press in December 2001
when the guests were Giuliani, Laura Bush and some Catholic bishop or cardinal. Russert asked Giuliani if he thought god put Bush in office to deal with 9-11. He answered, "Yes, yes I do!" The bishop enthusiastically agreed. The only person not crazy enough to go along with this ridiculous idea was Laura Bush. Giuliani is a nut.

15. Giuliani ignored the threat of terrorism in NY, despite the fact that the

WTC had already been targeted. He built himself a bunker (in Bldg 7) though, while telling NYers for years that they needed to go out and shop, and spend and celebrate to 'show the world that NYC is the safest place in the world'!!! Most NYers didn't believe him and his approval ratings were around 25% before 9/11 happened.

He got a free ride simply because he couldn't find his bunker (very controversial btw) on 9/11 and wandered around looking dazed, which the press interpreted as having a 'hands on' approach to the tragedy. We're still trying to figure out what exactly he did that day, other get camera time, which he's always been good at. More importantly, what did he do to protect the people of NY. So far, he hasn't even been asked, and he used up his time during the 9/11 hearings, patting himself on the back ~

The media turned him into the '9/11 Mayor' although most people I talked to (in NY) that day were furious at him, remembering his 'NYC is the safest place in the world, so don't worry, be happy' nonsense. PR is an amazing thing, it can make a hero out of a bully and a coward ~ and turn a real hero into the opposite.

I pray every day that Republicans choose Rudi for president ~ once the country gets a real look at him, even Diebold won't be able to help him, imo. The 9/11 families nearly rioted during his testimony at the hearings, demanding that he stop promoting himself and start to finally answer some questions ~

Oh, and aside from all that, he's pro-choice (or at least he was) and his best and most trusted friend is Bernie Kerrik ~ need I say more.

And ... if his pro-life stance doesn't turn off the Fundies (unless he has a sudden enlightenment) maybe the photos of him in drag will ~ we should probably grab them now before they are scrubbed! So run, please Rudi!!

19. There have been reports that Rudy got a warning
about ten-fifteen minutes before the WTC building seven went down. They pulled it and he knew a head of time. Of course they all knew because of insider trading. Go and watch "Loose Change 2nd Edition" at http://www.question911.com

9. Lost in the shock of 9/11 is that Guiliani
was trying to get in touch with Bush ALL DAY LONG on 9/11 and he couldn't.

Bush was nowhere to be found that day, fleeing in terror and hiding under a cornfield in Nebraska.

It wasn't just the American people who saw this - Guiliani himself couldn't get in touch with Bush. I watched him say this on TV on the day.

Mattheews is as dishonest and corrupt as the rest of his profession.

17. John Kerry has saved at least two men's lives himself
His friend in Vietnam and than there's a story of him going up to do some business and I'm guessing it's the Capitol. He walks off an eleveator and sees a man choking (on an apple) and he runs over and saves him. Nobody else even bothered because they thought he was just coughing but Kerry knew he was in trouble and saved him. Don't forget the time with Alexandrea's hampster too.

20. Kerry
I was talking with someone who runs a veterans support organization. He mentioned that Kerry once gave a significant donation, and asked for it not to be publicized.

So I think he might stop to help change your tire Tweety.

Occasionally watching his show, I wonder if he ever locks himself in the bathroom with pictures of McCain, Rudy and Bush.
