My wife, I love her to pieces, puts up with my more cynical world view especially when it comes to my tin-foil hattery has bought her own tin-foil hat.

I came home from work late friday night to find her agitated.
She had just finished reading this (or last) week's Newsweek and Time magazines, which both had front page stories of Cheney popping the lone liberal-ish repug lawyer in Texas.

She says "Look at this.... The shooting couldn't have happened like they reported." She shows me their artistic recreation of the paths the three hunters had taken.

The Hostess.(can;t remember her name) on the far left.
Dead-eye Dick Chaney in the middle
and the Vic on the right, closest to the viewer.

The Vic meanders a bit in the early stage of the hunt having to find his bird. but eventually rejoins the other. As the Vic rejoins the group Cheney shoots him.

I said "So we already know he shot him (and got away with it)."

"No, you don;t see it do you... If Cheney is to the Lawyers left and shoots him, why are his wounds on the right side of this body?"

Maybe there is a factory in texas which makes magic ammo rounds...

10. Wounds inconsistant with...... REALITY

The reports indicate the wounds on the wrong side of the body.

As to the earlier posters, the recreation shows all parties walking paralel with each other and facing the same direction.

No way the wounds could occur on the right side in the situation as reported.

11. I probably shouldn't have...

but I just emailed the texas dept. of parks and wildlife to inform them of the mistake on the report. I'll keep you posted on the response, that is unless I'm sent to Gitmo.
