Dear Leader falling pretty fast on Rasmussen
Rasmussen generally polls shrub higher than other polls, by 5 to 10 points. My guess is this is due to their methodology: my understanding is they use calling machines to poll about 5000 people per night--it seems likely that the pool of people who have phones, are home and not otherwise occupied and are willing to respond to a robot voice on the phone tends to be a more conservative pool than average. That said, Curious George has dropped steadily from 49% (slanted) approval to 43% (slanted) approval in about a week. Also interesting, almost as many (39%) 'strongly disapprove' as 'strongly approve' or 'somewhat approve' combined (43%). Only 21% 'stongly approve'.

4. Quite a few here seem to be below 39%:

(on edit: above found under 'Approval" at http://www.pollkatz.homestead.com/)

And several here are in the 39% range:

But my point is that the next 'standard method' poll that comes out can reasonably be expected to be 5 or 6 points lower for shrub than ones conducted a week ago (before shrub said he would rather make a couple million in kickbacks from his Dubai budies than worry about port security).

5. How in the fuck are his numbers so high?
Who in their right mind would approve of the way this idiot is doing his job?

Also, I was too young to notice, but anybody know what Nixon's poll numbers were right before he resigned? Thanks!
