They've also said the Swift Boat Vets were heros for what they did during the campaign (so denegrating war vets is heroic?)

1. Rove kept media at bay saying GOP had no connection to Swiftliars, then

the GOP honored the swiftliars with awards throughout 2005 at their state dinners. The media never heard a lie from Rove that was ever too big to swallow.

Another point that broadcast media refused to discuss was that when articles defending the truth of Kerry's service and using actual Naval records were printed, Rove would call the publisher and complain about the proKerry coverage - he did this to the Chicago Tribune whose own editor was actually ON the swiftboat with Kerry in Vietnam - He was notably absent from all the talk shows after his story was printed.
