5. same here
Incidently, it is my believe that it is the MSM and the RNC that are pushing her canidiacy

I believe she has to be aware that she has very mixed reviews among democrats, and will NOT even try for a run in 2008

This is just a media event distraction from the REAL problems that this administration has caused

2. Note she is NOT the only one
but the notable exceptions are Feingold, Boxer, and a few others

The silver lining is that their appear to be more Democrats actually voting against it this time, then the first time when it first came up

3. Noted, but I'm throwing my support behind Feingold
Sen. Clinton is trying to play all sides of every fence.

12. I'm glad Kerry didn't vote for it
I saw a blog post earlier from someone (it's in the Kerry forum) and they said Kerry talked about the "Patriot Act" at a recent meeting and he said for the most part it's alright but I don't see his name on the "yea" list so I'm glad to see that. :)

18. They are ALL for most of the Patriot Act.
Feingold, Kerry and others would have no problem voting for it if the more onerous aspects for American citizens were dropped.

The GOP controlled media spins the opposition as being against the whole Patriot Act, bypassing the issue of the actual parts that they are against.

22. Yes, but hillary believes we should "finish" the job in iraq
I say we are finished in Iraq, it just depends how many more deaths we will accept before we leave

15. Oh yes. Just like her great hubby
Check out LBN. Bill has the nice soundbite about how we should maybe run our own ports while at the same time decreeing how safe and wonderful DPW are. WHEN will we get real leadership in this country?

The same day that Tom Daschle refused to let Bush have war powers "inside the United States"

9. Add the following to the list
Biden, Carper, Conrad, Feinstein, Johnson, Kohl, Landrieu, Lincoln, *both* Nelsons, Pryor, Rockefeller, and Schumer.

I can understand some of these folks who represent Red States.

But Carper, Clinton, Feinstein, Kohl, and Schumer represent fairly blue states and are an embarassment to their party.
