9/11: No one could have imagined/Katrina:I don't think anybody anticipated |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-01-06 08:51 PM by jackstraw45
9/11
Bush on 9/16/01 "No one could have conceivably imagined suicide bombers burrowing into our society and then emerging all in the same day to fly their aircraft - fly U.S. aircraft into buildings full of innocent people"
Bush receives Presidential Daily Briefing on 8/6/01 titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States" which reportedly discussed the use of planes.
Katrina
Bush on 9/1/05: "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees."
Now we know Bush DID receive a DETAILED briefing pre-Katrina where levee breach was covered.
IMPEACH!!!!!!

Iraq
Sec. of State Colin Powell:
"I don’t know of any reporting that anyone saw that anticipated an insurgency of this level, and I just have never seen anything like that"

2. Nagin:"I have kind of a sinking feeling right now in my gut...." |
|
"I mean, I was listening to what people were saying and I was believing them that they didn't know. So there it was an issue of a learning curve.
From this tape it looks like everybody was fully aware."
So what was the real reason for the neglect? Is that just how he manages things? He dismisses the problem and thinks it'll take care of itself? (like he's done in Iraq)
He knew about terrorist attacks, he stayed on vacation and did nothing. He knew about the catastrophic hurricane and stayed on vacation.
What is it going to take for the American people to get this incompetent, derelict, dangerous man out of his position of power? Is is going to take another disaster and another 3000 dead?

5. When does it become CRIMINAL negligence? |
|
Bush sat through that briefing, probably not paying attention to a thing, and STILL needed staff to make a DVD to show him how serious the situation was??!?!?

3. Torches and pitchforks anyone? |
|
I'm so livid I could spit. Even though nothing nothing will ever be a surprise to me with these motherfuckers. I expect to read the memo in a few years: "Bush warned about serious port security lapses with UAE ports deal." "Relatives of the port masacre outraged." Time to face facts. When you let someone this evil or incompetent to continue you are complicit.

4. Is the Republican Corporate MSM prepping the American people |
|
For a change in leadership, and getting out in front of impeachable offenses that are about to blow wide open?
Republicans and their Corporate MSM know BushCo is an anchor dragging them down with BushCo. Republicans have an election coming up, and the Republican Corporate MSM knows that nobody is buying their BushCo propaganda anymore and they are losing viewers. They cannot escape a tidal wave of corruption and scandal that is about to crash over BushCo. Their only chance of survival is to "Cut & Run" from their ties to BushCo, get out ahead of the tidal wave, and ride over the top of BushCo in an effort to survive the wave of accountability that will crash over BushCo. To keep their lot or yacht and to ensure a more peaceful transition that is coming, they have to be on top of the tidal wave coming, and they have to appear like victims as well.
Do the propaganda catapults and Republicans know, that just over the horizon, the massive tidal wave that is about to hit BushCo, is the one that will finally sink them?
