Bush lied to us about Katrina and the video proves it! |
|
He told us no one could anticipate that the levees would break. He lied, lied, lied. When are the right wingers ever going to acknowledge W lies about everything?
The levees and the port are under federal jurisdiction and the feds, not the state and city, are responsible for collapses and all the ramifications.
W's actions gives considerable to Kayne West's remark about race.
I am so sick of Bush about everything. It just doesn't stop and only continues to get worse with us paying the price.
Rant off. I'm just so totally frustrated. So are the majority of our citizens. Impeach him.

2. The LEVEES destroyed New Orleans, not Katrina. |
|
Katrina hit Mississippi. New Orleans was destroyed because the federally-controlled levees sucked.
Please correct anyone who claims that there was no way NOLA could have been saved.

5. Because they are being worked by talk radio and the M$M |

They are so drowning in propaganda that they think the talking points are their own ideas.

6. The right wingers should quit being W apologists |

and become Americans. Again, the failure of the levees put the feds in control for both accountability and responsibility. The mayor and the state are neither responsible nor accountable for levees on navigable waters.
The Feds were totally responsible and had the right and responsibility to take over the National Guard and evacuate the city. At least they called in the Coast Guard, or the Coast Guard knew their legal duties and didn't wait.

7. Depends on who you mean by "right wingers" |
|
If you mean the poor saps on FR, they are so brain dead as to be without hope.
If you mean the traditional Republicans whose party has been hijacked, they are worth talking to, because even they can see now that Junior and his cabal have a certain undeniable reckless cruelty toward American lives (Katrina) and interests (torture, picking a war with Iran when Iraq is not finished, the deficit, etc.)
If you mean the neocons in the party, you've got to understand that only some are true believer-wackos, while others are opportunistic and will change on their own as soon as they perceive weakness in Junior.
If you mean the White House, they are not working for us so they don't really care about what is right for Americans. I believe Scott Ritter when he says these people "are not Americans." They are globalists and see their natural loyalties to other people like themselves in other countries, sort of like how royalty saw itself and other royalty as all that existed; the people were just a backdrop. This time it's corporations, but it is no different. Major wealthy stockholders in all countries are their own nation. The rest of us are the 3rd world nation beneath them.
