My Trip to Visit The Indians, by George Bush
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 12:22 PM by Career Prole
First I should tell you that these weren’t real Indians. I could tell right away because of Number 1 they had no feathers, and B, because my friend Jack Abramoff has never helped these guys. I could tell because they still have some money left ‘n no casino.

First thing I did when I met their chief was to pucker up.

I learned from Prince Bandar (who me and Daddy call the “Sultan of SWAK, get it?) that these guys see nothing wrong with man-kissin’. I was uncomfortable with it until “Brokeback Mountain” but now it’s okay, I guess, except for the feelin’ I get “down there” when I do it though. Mom sez that’s bad and never tell the Prince.

Anyways, next day me and Peaches had a super time with the friendly Indians. They must know about me makin’ freedom march because you shoulda seen the crowd that came to meet us!!!!!

There was one parade for us in the mornin’…

…and another one in the afternoon!

One Indian child I noticed had a nice sign greetin’ me but for he had spelled “Patriot” all wrong. Must not be any “No Child Left Behind” here!

That evenin’ there was a BBQ and they went through a lot of trouble to make a meatloaf shaped just like me in my honor. Don’t tell them I told you, but I think they over-cooked it a little. Wasn’t as good as Mom’s MLK meatloaf!

I had to go to bed after that because I go to bed real early on account of freedom bein’ “hard work”, but I didn’t miss nothin’. They told me they were just gonna sit around for awhile and roast some weiners.

Anyhow, tomorrow’s another day like that lady Tara said, and I need to get some nukular stuff sold for GE or they won’t send me no more money and I’ll be broke like real Indians. So enuf fun for now. See y’all!!!!

7. GE just opened a beautiful complex here.
I had no idea they were into nuclear war heads. I thought they made nuclear medicine instruments?

Here's the real reason Dim Son has taken his "passage to India"...

With Bush's Help, General Electric Courts Indian PM, Nuke Sector
By Adam Entous
Reuters

Monday 25 July 2005

Washington - Just over an hour after the White House's surprise pledge to help India develop its civilian nuclear power sector, the head of General Electric, the American company that could benefit most from the policy change, sat down for a celebratory dinner.

The host was President George W. Bush; a few feet away was India's prime minister, Manmohan Singh, and his top aides. GE Chief Executive Jeff Immelt, a contributor to Bush's presidential campaigns, had a coveted seat at the president's table.

Bush's announcement on nuclear trade with India - followed by a formal dinner in the State dining room - was not just a victory for Singh. For GE, the only US-owned company still in the nuclear business, it marked a possible turning point in a years-long push to re-enter the Indian nuclear power market, which it was forced to leave in 1974 when India conducted its first nuclear test.

"In the short term, it's really business as usual. ... But if things unfold the way it looks they may, then clearly it is a significant opportunity for us," said Peter Wells, general manager of marketing for GE Energy's nuclear business...

GE's Immelt is predicting GE's revenue from India alone "could jump to $5 billion".
With King George's help loosening up those bothersome rules, natch...

14. In hindsight (Hindsight is not a strategy!) I should have put
the GE/India link in the O.P. in case there are folks who've forgotten about why shrub's in India.
Doggone it.

9. As Homer Simpson said:
"Burning an effigy, eh? Yeah, nothin' burns like an effigy!"

(The effigy in this instance is, of course, of Homer himself.)
