Finding a loophole in state prohibitions of abortion |
|
The states that outlaw abortion, like Mississippi and South Dakota, will say that an exception will be made if the woman's life is in danger. Mkaaaay...
Seriously, isn't any woman who experiences a pregnancy in at least a little bit of danger of a life-threatening complication? Couldn't that very very small danger be used as legal grounds with which a legal abortion could be obtained? I mean, if I go outside and walk on the sidewalk, there is at least a 1 in 2 million chance that I could be hit by a bus and die.
Or, some states will say that an exception will be made for rape. This, unfortunately, will lead to thousands of phony, bogus claims of rape being filed with police, so that the woman can get a legal abortion.

2. I figure some middle-class white suburban women will have to |

die in childbirth before that one gets any leverage.
and then it will be because the poor father of 1 or 2 small children left to fend for himself will be the poster boy.
