'Speshly if ya really need one--like Scooter, KKKarl, Bolton, Hadley, Deadeye Dick, etc. are maybe gonna need 'em after Fitz gets done. And then there's Cunningham, Bugman & all that crowd. Maybe even one for KennyBoy.

Based on that, I'd say a presidential pardon was worth about $600,000 transferred to a Swiss bank account.

6. $600,000 cash on hand, maybe.
Still quite a few mil salted away in less liquid assets, plus maybe a few shekels in hidden foreign accounts.

5. Many on the people Bush 1 pardoned are in W's administration
They were pardoned BEFORE the trial. So most of the details never came out, and Ollie took most of the heat.

Currently, the only way to change the pardon power is by constitutional amendment, though history has shown that the scope of the power can be modified by the courts (as in the acceptance doctrine).

What courts and what is the acceptance doctrine? Anybody know?
