This is breaking my heart - Malloy Interview
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 11:29 PM by SnoopDog
This gentleman speaking, survived the holocaust.

Living in a ghetto.
He is talking about how the Nazis would come in the middle of the night and take people away.
His not knowing of what they did with the people who were carted away.
The smokestacks - smelling of flesh and not knowing it was mass murder (thought is was just normal cremation).
Now he is talking about his mother, sister, and her boy being gassed in a car (CO).

Now today I think this is what the monsters in our government are leading to. Our elected officials are not doing anything to stop this madness that we are enduring today. So many things are the same. It is like they are following the same play book but have more power to carry it out.

However, I think 300 million Americans will not let it happen.

But, heaven forgive us for letting it get this far.

3. Our government is half Democrats...
In fact, when I started reading here, everyday I've read that most of America belongs to the Democratic party and thinks just like we do. What are you talking about?

10. 'Thugs Have the pRez, most Supremes, ALL Committee chairs, 60% of Congress
While we are reduced to holding unofficial hearings in the House basement.
That is all our Democratic Congressmen can do now, and it is a lot more
than most of them even try to do.

In the Senate, we have effectively lost the filibuster, since it is clear that
it will be taken from us if we ever dare to use it. The Senate was pretty well
intimidated anyway, after the plane crashes and the anthrax. With NSAgate, we
can now assume that blackmail is far more widespread.

In terms of influence, the government is 0% Democrats.

13. Yeah...
Where were all those charges and indictments etc. that were mentioned so much in the weeks leading up to Christmas? They were supposed to change things for the better, they were supposed to give us a leg up--now, that stuff isn't even being mentioned!

4. One small quibble...
CO2? That looks like the symbol for carbon dioxide. The Nazis used carbon monoxide (CO) at first in mobile gassing vans and earlier concentration camps before switching to Zyklon-B (hydrogen cyanide).

Yes, it's a morbid topic, but I had to throw that in there.

14. Hitler didn't win only because foreign countries and their militaries
made him stop. The German government was a one-man dictatorship with appropriate bureaucracies and a cowed populace on all levels of society. When Hitler was "elected" (more like selected, sound familiar?) to be Chancellor, Joseph Goebbels was reported to have screamed that now that the National Socialists were in charge of the country, they would NEVER give up their power. It took a foreign invasion and challenge to the German military on several fronts before Berlin was ready to fold.

8. There was a four hour (two parts) series on PBS
about Auschwitz and the second part was how the inner workings of running the concentration camps. It was really well done. Some parts had actors as the SS. Anyone see it? I recomend it.
