Whilst visiting our jobs in India, look what Bush has the GALL to say.
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 04:12 AM by Bluebear
He can pander to India while he is being treated like a rajah over there. Come say that at a closing factory's parking lot and see what reception you get, you monkey.

HYDERABAD, India - President Bush urged Americans worried about a U.S. job drift to India and other countries to welcome, not fear, competition with this rapidly growing nation of 1 billion.

"The classic opportunity for our American farmers and entrepreneurs and small businesses to understand is there is a 300 million-person market of middle class citizens here in India," Bush said Friday during a discussion with young entrepreneurs at a business school here, "and that if we can make a product they want, that it becomes viable."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060303/ap_on_re_as/bush

"US President George W. Bush (R) speaks to an Indian woman, demonstrating cotton picking during a visit to the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University in Hyderabad."

This is the most work he's done in, oh, 40 years. I'm sure he was surprised there weren't any teepees.

Amazing! You can see his thought process aura!

2. Hahahaha "Visiting Our Jobs".....I'll be using that tomorrow.
Is that some sort of Indian brush clearing tool?
Why does he need help with it?

I love the "Blue collar rolled-up sleeve" outfit these pols wear when they pretend to relate to people who punch a time clock.

5. Were you in tech skittles? They came for autoworkers jobs and
I said nothing, because I didn't build cars.

They came for the textile worker's job, and I said nothing because I didn't make clothing.

Then they came for the computer jobs (because y2k and hi salaries) and I said something.

Then they came for the accounting and IRS processing and I said nothing because I wasn't an accountant.

Then they came for the ports (To Be determined).

I apologize, for the rest of industries/ jobs that aren't listed, but please feel free to add!

8. I have been so down for so long, besides DU their is no one
to understand, but WE the PEOPLE do have power! I have a great plan for rebuilding NOLA and the Gulf coast, but no means to implement it. I kept hoping God would let me win the lottery (no kidding), because it is so completely out of the box, that not only would it work, but would continue to work!

Oh well, I guess, another day another cent!

29. Everything they can...everything
Steel workers, most factory workers, radiology, customer service...and it even affects "Hollywood". Many who have worked most of their life in the industry are losing their work and their homes because when they can they shoot the movies (or do animation) in a studio or country far away from the unions.

Dobbs was listing the jobs bush bragged that we were "retrained for". Pretty much service jobs that you can't export because you have to be here to do them...but then we are screwed over when they use some act to let people come in on long term visas to do the work.

It was on his show I first learned about importing workers (legally) but someone posted here about their daughters company bringing in a group of workers for them to train (from the Philippines) and it turned out it wasn't for a new office there. Once they trained them the American workers were laid off en masse and replaced by the foreign workers at much less money. And this was legal?

No one wins but corporations. It started long ago but has never been so blatant. What are we going to make or export that other countries will buy...they are exporting the making already.

With Pell grants falling so far behind inflation, student loans now being funded by private banks at higher interest rates and community colleges facing severe cuts by states short on cash - that's not an option either.

If you had been in the lane next to me and glanced over, you would probably thought I was a total wacko. I was must have been a sight to behold.

I am always yelling at my radio - and I haven't thought about what others may be thinking until I read your post.

I yell so much I would be surprised if it weren't picked by the NSA satellite or roving van or however they are doing it these days.

We're saved!!! We got Mangos!!!!

Now I can sell Mangos on the street corner instead of apples!!!

Are Mangos on the approved food stamp list?

It's Ironic - Native Americans (then known as Indians) sold Manhatten to us for some trinkets. We've just sold the MANHATTEN PROJECT to Indians for mangos...

What else will bush* sell? How much am I bid for the White House? Bidding starts at 3 lbs of baloney....
