Are your missing the REAL deal behind the nuke deal with India?
We give them the technology and nuke aid and in RETURN India promises to buy mega military arms and equipment from the US. (I said once before that the US is the biggest exporter of weapons in the world).

Now, I have been out of town for a few days but two of my "insights" have proved to be true.
The first was that the neocon-PNACers were upset with Bush about the UAE deal, NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT US SECURITY, but because the dumb handling of the deal has brought attention to Bush's decision-making even among the dittoheads.

The second was that the UAE actively participates in boycotting of Israel (on the surface that is).

The third was that I bet that somewhere in this UAE deal an Israeli fat cat was involved and going to make huge bucks...as is the same case with the Indo-Israeli deals on spy technology and computer security systems. Wallah!! Up pops a letter from an Israeli party to Hillary explaining why the UAE deal was important to Israel and his company.

Now I make these predictions: The knowledge that the heads of the UAE members are behind closed doors dealing (shall we say, "collaborating")with Israel will have some fallout in both India and Israel and certainly among many of the dittohead Arabs and Muslims in the world, who like the working men and women of the US are both uninformed, racist, and used as cannon fodder and the indentured servants of the oligarchies of the world. Ahhhh me. So much complexity, so little time!

1. The Gopers/neo-cons also started the ball rolling
allowing China to have some nuclear goodies back in the 1980's. This whole things bothers the hell out of me. India doesn't need anymore help with nukes. No one does. Yet we tell select countries that we will blow them up if they attempt to get a nuke for themselves.

Could some important Dems. really review this deal and let us, their constituents, know what this agreement contains?

I know, our Corporations are very happy with this Deal.

2. No Dem that I know of will be able to tell the entire truth. Many are
out of the loop. One thing you can be sure of is that the money that controls this country is not homed in this country, it's all over the world. As a very insightful DUer put it: There are no nations, just corporations.
