5. I had heard something to that effect. |
|
I believe it was lower-back problems that he had, and he may have taken medication for it. If he was in pain most of the time, he knew how to hide it behind a charismatic smile and an award winning personality.

14. this says a lot about the man... |
|
"I mean, he was living with a disability which probably would get him federal disability or retirement if he was around today, and it was known. He was on enough pain medications to disable him. And he survived through it. He came out of it, and he performed at the highest level"
he had a condition that would have put most people out of commission at that time...and yet he was clearly a fighter....

...attacked during WWII. He also had a disease (don't know the name) that left him pale and sickly looking. So he always tried to stay tanned in order to look more healthy. I googled JFK medical condition and got thiso check some of this out. http://www.google.com/search?q=JFK+medical+condition&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

that he was eventually unable to lift up Caroline & John-John when they were small. When you see historical footage of JFK returning to the White House, exiting from a helicopter, the kids run up excitedly to him but they just grab him around the legs and you can see its painful for him to even bend over towards them.
