Another Open Letter to Hannity re: Hitler Youth tactics

Hey, Hannity, aka Mr.-I-Got-My-Tax-Cut-and-you-Lost-Your-Job-to-Outsourcing, ha, ha!! , you ChickenHawk: do you ever stop to think of the historical precedents (that means custom or convention arising from long practice) of your plea, every single day, for children to tape record their teachers without their teacher's knowledge?? Does the name "Hitler Youth" mean anything to you?? No? Have you ever read "1984"? I didn't think so. You see, the problem with being uneducated and ignorant is that you are repeating serious mistakes that have been made in the history of mankind; you are not capable of learning from these mistakes because you, like George W. Bush, are an ignorant and narrow-minded man. Instead of encouraging students to study up on politics (as I encouraged my son, when he had very conservative teachers in a very conservative Christian school he attended for junior high school) so that they can debate their teachers in a high level way, or encouraging young people to consider academia as a career, you tell them to spy, sorry, tape any teacher who makes a progressive statement and you will put them on the air.

I heard the caller today say that his teacher said that the only way Bush would leave office was if he was impeached or someone did something terrible to him. Now, it sounded to me like the teacher was NOT hoping for anything bad - just stating what she thought. But, no, you immediately tried to make it sound like that teacher said she HOPED that this would happen. Then, since you have given these idiots an open offer of air time, your caller offered to swear or sign an affadavit that his teacher said this SO HE COULD GET ON YOUR SHOW!!! HAHAHA!! You are going to have these nuts coming out of the woodwork now!! How can you even know if this they are telling the truth or not?? I just read a bunch of people on a blog planning on making a bunch of FAKE tapes and calling your show with them, and SETTING YOU UP. How funny and clever is that?? How you going to tell the real from the false??? Ha! Another problem with your poster Republican Youth boy - Do you know Sean Allen has a place on MySpace and he wants to be a comedian?? Did you ever think he might be using you?? Did you like his joke about Jehovah Witnesses?? Nice boy, that Sean Allen, and his parents, all looking for their 15 minutes of fame. That lawyer, Mr. Lane, cleaned your clock today, and made Sean Allen and his mother and you look like a bunch of liars!! Sean was too afraid to do some research and debate his teacher. Another typical Republican!! Another ChickenHawk to join you, Mr.-I-Got-My-Tax-Cut-and-you-Lost-Your-Job-to-Outsourcing, ha, ha!!

And your tactics are known to all. A big Hannity tactic is to say, “You're a lib, tell us about your blah, blah, blah, stupid horrible, enemy lib, giving comfort to the enemy when our troops are in harm's way.” And then, when a person makes a good point, you can hear 1/2 of it before you cut them off. Today, that teacher’s lawyer said that the teacher had both sides of the spectrum on the website for the class, both far left and far (cut his mic!!!) But you cut that right off, didn't you Mr.-I-Got-My-Tax-Cut-and-you-Lost-Your-Job-to-Outsourcing, ha, ha!! You do not allow a person to make an intelligent, reasoned statement without poisoning the well (do you denounce Hillary Clinton’s statement about the plantation?), throwing out red herrings, putting out distracting statements, or outright lying.

Did you ever think that if you want to destroy the liberal elites in the universities, than you have to get some smart, unselfish people to work in the universities and change them from within? But this won't work - because republicans are generally too damn greedy to work for the pittance they can make in academia, when they have so many opportunities to make tens of millions of dollars screwing Grandma out of her pension.

Eventually, all of the people WILL catch on and you will be another dumb loud-mouth like Morton Downer Jr., and not a day too soon.

They don't care if it's true. They're waging war on public education and knowledge itself. Have been for at least 25 years. I'm a retired teacher. I fought that war for my whole career. They want people--including their own kids--to be ignorant and easily manipulated by self-appointed fascist experts whose only credentials are having a show on AMhateradio.

3. Do you suppose these "talking heads"

like Hannity & O'Lielly & Rush could ever be charged after Bush, Cheney & Co. are charged & sent to the Hauge - here's hoping. They either KNOW they are lying and getting paid handsomely for it - or they're too damn stupid to live in a normal society, much less be on the air.
