Edited on Tue Mar-07-06 02:33 PM by Yollam
What issue has the party neglected most in recent years, and which of them would be
most effective to emphasize in terms of bringing voters back to the democratic fold
in coming elections?

2. Two words: "Value Labor!"
 Labor is being outsourced, overtaxed, and exploited for a greater and greater share of the wealth it creates. "Class warfare" doesn't even begin to cover it.

3. I agree with the above and add civil rights ...
Republican policies and decisions have been eroding the rights women, blacks, and other minorities have fought hard for the last few decades. Dems have been doing little or nothing to stop them.

5. That's an interesting one.
It seems to always be put aside as a partisan grievance, rather than an actual platform issue - but maybe it should be. Maybe "free, fair and verifiable elections" would be a good plank.

If the elections fail once again this Nov. we can kiss away every thing that the nation once was. There won't be any more chances!

8. Without a fair vote count we can't seriously take on any of the issues.
We'll be "voted" down on every one of them.
