Dem leaders. Smart? MSNBC showed about 45 seconds of a press |
|
briefing by Schumer and others talking about the 'agreement'. Then, MSNBC switched to George speaking prior to the signing of the Patriot Act. MSNBC then went back to the briefing for about 5 seconds.
Yes, seconds - a total of less than a minute by my guess covering the Dems.
Didn't Schumer and the others know about the 2 pm signing? Why would they start there briefing a few seconds befor the signing?.

they hoped to distract FROM the chimp signing and taking credit for securing Murica once again.
I'd venture to say that even if the Dems had scheduled their press conf at a different time, they still would have received 45 seconds.
People are always screaming about the Dems not speaking out about this or that....but, when they are denied equal access to the press, how are they supposed to do it? Sometimes (not all of the time) the Dems do try to get out their message, but are just ignored by the press.

3. What's the difference? |

Sounds to me like Shumer was spouting the same shit.
the wisdom I'm questioning is why they'd sell off our rights, then call a press conference about it.
