4. I've always said that too! HOWEVER, don't you think maybe
it could be 2 Senators running against each other in 08?

5. Yeah
But can Feingold win in an election where he has to appeal to Moderates and Republicans as well?

7. Well, he carried WI by 10% in '04 when Kerry barely squeaked through.
Lots of stories of yards with Bush and Feingold signs side-by-side.

11. Many Bush voters in WI voted for Feingold
so Feingold has crossover appeal to republicans who know him and his record

3. He's got my vote!
But living in his district, he always has. It would be difficult to lose him as a Senator, but I say without the slightest hesitation, he would make the best president we've had in 40 years.

8. He's been on the right side of two issues that have mattered most to me
He fought and fights the Patriot Act
He voted against the Iraq War resolution

10. Well, if It's NOT Feingold
it better be someone else who has NOT been enabling Bush the last five years. And that cuts the field down considerably.
