They are saying that the empowerment came out of Congress finally listening to the public re: the ports deal.

Funny -- I don't feel empowered.

The only reason the repubs went along with the public is because of the upcoming elections.

not sit well with me....it seems like it was smoke & mirrors and whatever they're trying to push through, or cover up has yet to be revealed. If it were all about access to Iran, there are surely many more ways this administration could make it worth UAE's while...

I think that people are so tired of the line of crap after line of crap and see with their own eyes what this bunch is doing that they are just going for broke. The vast majority of people have never been in disagreement about this country since this bunch stole the whitehouse,(the imbeciles who identify with anything that buxhco says and/or does, notwithstanding). The media is just starting to really report it because a tipping point has been reached that has resulted from the critical mass of disgust of the average american.
