A news guy who quotes Yeats...!

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer.
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold..."

2. Actually,
he was quoting Sam Waterston's character in the Oliver Stone movie about Richard Nixon in a scene that was cut from the final edit.

Waterston's character quoted Yeats, and KO used that background to put it into a political frame of reference. Very slick.

8. Where are you?
That's all - he just quoted Waterston quoting Yeats so that he could put it in the current political context. The story he did was about Bush's low ratings (I think - I was doing other stuff).

We're getting some storms tonight, but it'll just drop the temps 30 degrees or so. Wherever you are, stay safe.

10. All right!
Good for you. I started law school in Chicago - loved it there.

I'm just now hearing about damage in Springfield, and remembering some time I spent in a Joliet cemetery one night.

You'll be a great leftie lawyer, I bet. Best of luck to you. (And remember that you'll learn everything you need in your Bar Review course...........)

11. bin laden with practice for 20 yrs, but I've seen the light about
what is ethical, right and wrong.
So becoming a left-oriented lawyer is more of an awakening and a new honorable task, something that must be done, that is,
if I want to sleep at nights.
And I like looking in the mirror and saying, Heh, I did good for the little guy.
Somehow, it makes it all worthwhile.

4. Ever Wonder Why We Live In A Country Of Idiots?
A News Man like Olbermann gets beaten cleanly by a Bozo like O'Lielly.
