He broke the law. This isn't political or |

so Randi Rhodes is saying. This brings me to the question, if he broke the law shouldn't the proper law enforcement be sent to arrest him or at least give him a citation?
Really, how does that work. Does the DC police or the federal police have jurisdiction in this matter? What if Cheney shot someone on his staff, how would that work?
I mean is it only Congress who can make a President or Vice President, who broke the law accountable?

1. our rules enable a corrupt congress to make it legal after the fact |
|
unfortunately, if bush were to kill a democratic senator in cold blood in the oval office, a corrupt congress could carve an exception to, federal murder laws for presidents during times of war. or, a corrupt court system could declare that an exception already exists somehow.
and this is what the banana republican party is all about.

2. goes to show the law is only as good as the integrity of |

the enforcers.
unfortunately the integrity of the majority of our government at this point in history is in the shitter.

If Lord Cheney shoots someone, it's only with very good reason. :sarcasm:
I wonder. Maybe since we have so many fail-safes on our election process (heaven forbid WTP actually elect someone!), it must be presumed that only the finest can rise to the highest office in the land. (Geez, I'm sounding sarcastic again!)
Apparently, Satan himself has to rise up from the bowels of hell and drag the guilty parties down by their ankles before any sort of justice prevails.
