Possibly one of the stupidest questions ever
On Lou Dobbs show, the poll question was, and still is, "Are you surprised to find that paying Americans decent wages actually improves rather than hurts the economy?" Now I am not an economist, but it should be obvious to anyone with half a friggin' brain that if people make more money at work, they will spend more outside of work. I saw that poll and quite frankly, could not believe it. What kind of stupid question is that? www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/ Just ridiculous I tell you.

1. hahahah
91% no.

It's so poorly worded you don't know if you're agreeing that paying decent wages is good or saying "no, I'm not surprised."

2. Unfortunately, many people don't understand this concept... and they vote.

3. If you listened to Lou, you would know he's always pushing for
increasing the min. wage, paying American workers a living wage, and insists it's BS that there are jobs no American would do!

I didn't have as much a problem with the wording as I did with the 8 or 9% who said yes!

4. 9% voted yes
Just proves what I have always thought.

About 10% of the people walking around are complete morons and need to watched so as not to hurt themselves

5. I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I bet there are plenty
of the Bush backers who blindly believe anything that improves the profit margin for the corporations is good for the economy-irregardless of what is does for the American worker. Unbelievable how easily these kool-aiders will applaud their own cut in net income and higher health costs.

6. The stupid part is "decent"
WTF does "decent" mean? Answer: 100 different things to 100 different people. Bullshit question, bullshit "answer".

7. The phrasing is awkward but clearly carries a progressive
message. He just wants to make sure people understand that increasing the minimum wage is good for everyone. Unfortunately, due to the Repub blather we have been subjected to over the last 15 years or so, progressive messages like this are not getting out.
