With US spending more money than all of the world on the military |
|
are we getting our money's worth? I mean, with all of that money spent, how come the war in Iraq ISN'T a cakewalk? Is it possibly because the money going to the military is mostly finding its way to private contracting companies on no bid/compete contracts? Just another way for * to get money for his buddies. Why isn't this being further explored? I mean Iraq is the size of California and who knows what their "official" budget could be estimated at during this fight with the U.S. How could the "drop in the bucket" budget of the Iraqis even stand for 1 minute against the bucket? Really doesn't make any sense. If we were using our Military budget on legitimate military expenditures, then we would have "completed" the mission in Iraq immediately.
Maybe the purpose isn't anything but to help cause a civil war in Iraq and then secure the area that is most valuable for the U.S.

1. If you believe Iraq is a military mission that might hold some truth |
|
Our military is not engaged with a uniformed enemy. They are being used as a fascist police force against women and children in hopes that their brutality will cause the men folk to submit to the mighty USA. We could do wonders against a real enemy but how do you fight a civilian population that hates your guts?

3. So true, but part of what the military should be doing is adjusting |
|
to gorilla warfare. To secure Iraq, rebuilding the infrastructure, and using intel to identify and neutralize the "insurgents" is part of what our well funded military should be preparing(ed) to do. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that we will not always have the "luxury" of fighting a "uniformed" enemy. We learned this when we defeated the British. The "enemy" isn't always going to be lined up and using "traditional" methods of battle. If 9/11 didn't drive that point home, then I don't know what will. Certain battles will require traditional forces, while other battles won't. The point is that we are supposed to have the best military in the world and we are losing our ass in what would be considered at this time, a 3rd world country. To me it makes no sense, unless, we are supposed to "lose" this thing to begin with.

2. massive economic warfare being waged on america |

they got going in ww2, and simply refused to let go of the powers that ww2 gave them ('they'=the bully boy element of the upper class twittery) look. jack the ripper was an upper class twit, and rawther then just identify him (he was m john druitt) and suffer the commons looking askance at them, the upper class twit controlled police/press simply let the 'legend' grow until it became very profitable for all. that's just one example of the uc twittery fukking with the commons. another example? pearl harbour, or the sinking of the lusitania, or the 'maine'....or the murder of jfk, mlk, rfk and so on; the kal 007 shootdown, the 'october surprise (literally treason) or the savings/loan scandal....the 2k election, 911 and the 'wars' against iraq/afghanistan are minor league schemes when you control the stage and are the actors and write the news reports etc and report the public reaction the gopigs act bored and stupid, cuz robbing the neighborhood bank takes more guts to do then anything they've done! klol
