The White House is "tired"....they do need some new blood.
Since 9/11, they have been living in guilt, paranoia, and desperation. They decided that Dubya needed to work harder. Every day would be on the offensive. No time to take a break. We will hunt down those "terrorists" and kill them all, they assured each other. But, they are now out of gas and tired. And when people are "tired" and exhausted, they tend to make mistakes or bad decisions.

I have a recommendation. Send Dubya down to Crawford for a vacation. Give him a rest. And let the grown-ups take an inventory and figure out where we are going, how we are going to get there, and do we go together or separately. As a Democratic opponent of this Administration, I could wish that they continue to work themselves into exhaustion, but there is something more important at stake than partisan politics. The security and welfare of our nation is at stake. We need clear-thinking people in charge and making decisions. We don't need tired and muddled thinking. I fear that no one is at the wheel.

1. Sadly, their idea of new blood . . .
. . . would probably just be another sadistic Chickenhawk.

But you're right, there's a gathering sense that there is zero leadership. They all run around the globe "speechifyin'" and they clearly aren't even on the same page.

2. Cheney is pretty adept at drawing blood.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

You are correct, but I don't see it happening.
Who are they going to entrust with all of their dirty little secrets?

That is always a problem for cabals such as this one.

6. I think they may be putting our country at risk...
Otherwise, I would agree with you.

4. Their idea of new blood would be a war with Iran
The only blood they think of is that which they spill.

5. They need "new blood" because those freakin' vampires have drunk
all of ours already.

Send Duhbya on vacation? Hell, since that asshat has already spent more time on vacation than any president ever, it had better be an unpaid one, and he'd better get his sorry ass to the Potemkin Pig Farm-upon-Crawford by Greyhound bus, not $50K/hour Air Force One.

7. May it be tainted blood, tainted with ideas antithetical to the
batshit crazy Armageddonist, overspending, warmongering, anti Christian ideology currently entrenched there.

It's very tiring propping up a moron. I don't feel a bit sorry for them, though.
