1. he must be getting some money from a DVD lobbyist
best way to "promote" something is to have some idiot get upset by it and want it banned

so if Brokeback Mountain is banned from cable tv - then people will have to buy/rent the dvd

I can't think of a better way to reveal to the public who is actually funding and profiting from the Republicon "agenda"

4. Censorship is alive and well within the Repukes' agenda.

They want total information control. The more they do these things, the better it is for us.

6. Censorship always has the OPPOSITE effect of its intentions
if anything when people discover something is a topic of serious taboo the first thing they want to do is see what the big deal is all about.

Honestly I really had no intentions of seeing Brokeback Mountain (I'm not one for romance movies regardless of the genders being portrayed) but now I want to see it just to piss the repukes off.

7. LOL I know what you mean
My dad was very strict about what we watched on TV. And we watched EVERY show he told us we couldn't see.

8. Missouri is redder than red as red states go.
Its the home of John Ashcroft and in the forefront of the fundie/"family values"/agenda. A couple of weeks ago a Missouri legislator introduced a resolution to recognize Christianity as the "official state religion" in Missouri. Good thing Harry Truman is dead.

10. MO was a Dem stronghold for years until 2000
Then it turned red.

Makes me wonder where all those MO Dems went.

9.  i am not stunned---my friends son moved to a small town in mo
every girl within 3 years either way of him ,he was 15, hit on him. it got so bad that his first cousins were hitting on him so he had his friends take him to the next town so his cousins would stop hitting on him...ever wonder where jerry gets his guests? i guess the idiot figured if the guys ran out of first or second cousins and sheep they`d "turn gay"
