Real question ..... is the President crazy?
Edited on Mon Mar-20-06 02:49 PM by Botany
Or is he getting crazier or is it just an act.

30 minutes after watching his performance in Cleveland w/ a screened crowd
and scripted questions it seems to me at least the subject should be brought up
and discussed seriously. Is he mad and is that reason enough for his removal
from office.

Talk about "The Onion Guy I met at the airport.', gibberish, smirks, the tone of his voice going up and down,
and other acts during his talk makes me think he is truly out to lunch.

1. Alienated from his senses? No.
Edited on Mon Mar-20-06 02:46 PM by kenny blankenship
A stranger to reason? Definitely. Bereft of the normal person's sense of conscience and inhibitions against murder (a psycho in other words)? Notoriously so.

7. I thought so too.
He said that he never tried to link Saddam to 9-11 and that he made sure that
was not breaking the law before his "Terrence Surveillance Program" was started.

Both bald faced lies.

He also said that he has increased Pell Grants .... i thought the last
budget that Dick Cheney came into the senate to vote and break a tie cut Pell Grants.

and failing to give a shit about anyone outside of his own skin.

25. Have you read or heard of a book called ...
"The Sociopath Next Door"? I swear the author was talking about Bush, although she admittedly changed details to obscure this "real person's" true identity.

I honestly believe that Bush is a sociopath as well as others in his administration.

14. Yes, I think that was his last hit.
I can remember being about five, and hearing it on the car radio a lot as we drove around to do errands. My mother loved him--said he had a voice as smooth as velvet. She wasn't wrong.

20. Glad you asked this. I have on NPR...
wasn't really listening but they just ran a clip of Bush answering someone's question, apparently, and Holy Crap!...he was talking about a mile a minute and his voice was a couple registers higher than normal. He was talking so fast that he cut off the ending of every word.

I mean, it was bizarre. This is not normal. I think he's decompensating and it's only a boatload of heavy-duty psychotropic drugs that's keeping him able to stand upright.

He's nuts, and anyone who can't pick up on that is as nuts as he is.

27. He's not playing with a full deck. That's for sure, but
what you are describing are the actions of a drunk and not a dry drunk but one who keeps the buzz on all day. Because he can appear to be sober to the uninitiated, he gets away with it. Most people think of someone slurring, and falling down as being drunk. That's not so. Only the drinking amateurs do that.

30. Will the networks dare to show the speech on the news tonight?
How long can they maintain the cover-up? I couldn't believe the Non-sequitur comic strip in the Sunday paper this week. Everyone is saying that the Emperor is wearing no clothes.
