I think he's funny, and he doesn't contort himself to fit in with any orthodoxy -- even the orthodoxy of "liberal thinking." If you're a puritanical, he's not for you. (Not that you are, necessarily.) To each his own.

10. Back in the late 70s... |

He used to do a morning radio commuter show out of NYC and I'd laugh all the way to work. I especially liked a character he did, Rev. Billy Sol Harkus, which was a spoof on televangelists.
When I left the East Coast, I forgot all about him until he reappeared as a cynical, unfunny RW hack in recent years.

I like the guy and had him in drive time in my youth-which was as long ago as his peak...now it is just sad,rich,jetboy regaling us with tales about how he refuses to let "service workers" and "nannies" hose him...a multi-millionaire with a persecution complex....
