The Bush bot who got the standing ovation in West Va was on Fox last nite
along with her husband, who is a chief warrant officer in the National Guard.

For some strange reason she reminded me of Andrea Yates.

If you will recall, she was in attendance at the latest Bush staged town hall meeting yesterday. She asked a "question" of Bush, which turned out to be an attack on the media and all of the "good stories that are not being reported" by the media in Iraq.

Several shots of her husband's DVDs detailing all the "good work" were flashed onto the screen, and they all looked like Bush's Habitat Humanity photo ops.

Since when do soldiers erect buildings?

When I was in the Army I had to learn how to set up tents. Big, huge tents. And camouflage netting. But buildings? Give me a fucking break.

I noted that this was the one and only time I've seen this couple on TV. Fox was trying to make them into rock stars. The other networks didn't touch them.

I can't stress enough to you guys how much control the military has over its members. You do what you're told. Period. end of story.

Which is why I despise Bush so much for his shameful exploitation of the troops.

1. They were also on Tweety yesterday IIRC. Sigh.

And there is a branch of the Army that builds stuff, but I can't recall the name at the moment. I'm not thinking corps of engineers, but some other name. Googling...

Edit to add: I was thinking of Navy Seabees; they build stuff. My bad.

2. VIDEO of them from Hardball-Tweets interviewed them last
evening and Ichopped up their replies to take out the baloney.

First, the guy is a PR Flak, and when Tweety pressed him about how he KNEW the media was purposely dissing Bush, he had no answer, nor did his wife except "I see it on the evening news". Pffttttt.

3. There was never any doubt in my mind that she was one of the Stepford
Women. Only one them would ask such a ridiculously slanted question. And only the BFEE would seriously expect the public to accept it as a REAL question "from the heart". :puke:

4. Why doesn't faux shut up and just report "good news" from Iraq ...
No more car bombings, kidnappings, etc. See how long that lasts.

6. He probably stands to get a VERY lucrative contract...
with Halliburton or the like once his stint is up. I guarantee you he's got multiple buds in high positions some where just ready to plug him in. That's the way the upper echelon of the military runs these days. It's extremely mercenary.

and he is a PR person, if we are talking about the same people. Very staged deal.

lined up on camera a couple of months back..where it was then revealed that each of them had been rehearsed for their "off-the cuff" lines.

You would think the public would be pissed off as hell at the idea of how utterly stupid the BFEE thinks we are!!!!

15. I did a bit of googling...

..and found a Gayle Taylor who wrote an inspirational Christian book. Dunno if it's the same woman, though. I suspect this Bushie has some background, and I suspect she was contacted and set up in advance, as her question laid the groundwork for the WH's press offensive this week -- it's the fault of the media.

Tweety missed asking the obvious followup question:

"Mrs. Taylor, did you speak to anyone about your question before you asked it? Who were all the people you discussed it with?"

"good news" and/or produce propaganda. Yesterday, someone posted a link to a Google page showing multiple links to his army PR work.

Edited on Fri Mar-24-06 01:49 PM by Jara sang
That one guy from the WV speech was on Tweety with his wife, wearing his National Guard uniform, going gaga over Bushes policy, he even said that the media was attacking him because he was a Christian. They were assholes.

20. i don't think it is helping Bush one bit for these PR stunts. It's just
making more people more angry. the Bushbots are desperate. And now with that Harvard report on the impact of AIPAC on our foreign policy and the swipe it takes at the RE evangelical, plus Phillips new book, the Bushbots are going through their own "shock and awe."

21. Another pre-screened audience - Bush has no support otherwise
people planted with pre-selected questions, like the woman asking why the media is broadcasting only the bad news cominhg out of Iraq? -- total air-head on that one...that's like when 2000 troops were killed in Nam in a month;;;the people would ask why are they reporting bad news?? - typical ROVE crap but when the newswaves are flooded with these "flooks" -- people, I believe some people will be fooled.

She also mentioned Jesus in her convo. She and her husband are RW Fundies, contracted by the Bush Regime to catapult the propaganda.

misuse of the military in Iraq...they're frigging house painters now. Not that there's anything wrong with housepainting ...my hubby used to be one. But come on...
