Media Ignoring WA Sen Candidate Mark Wilson...

Just received this from Mark.......

KCTS EXCLUDES PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT MARK WILSON.

PLEASE ASK THEM TO INCLUDE MARK WILSON!

U.S. SENATE RACE:

Mike McGavick"Why am I running for the Senate? Because I truly believe that if we do not rescue our nation's capital from the name calling and meanness that defines it now, we will fail our children," McGavick said late January at his Seattle Center kick-off event. "The Senate desperately needs the civil and independent voice of a true Northwesterner."

And on that note, former Safeco CEO, Mike McGavick kicked off his U.S. Senate campaign against first-term Senator, Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.).,P. This week on Connects, candidate McGavick joins Enrique to talk about his first run for political office. As a young man, McGavick worked for former Washington U.S. Senator Slade Gorton - first as a campaign manager and later as chief of staff. Gorton lost to Cantwell by a narrow margin in 2000.

So this fall Republican candidate McGavick will be challenging incumbent Democrat Cantwell. Join us this week on Connects to find out more about Mike McGavick.

U.S. SENATE RACE: GREEN CANDIDATE AARON DIXON

Aaron Dixon"In this time of national and international crisis, there is-like never before-a critical need for progressive and alternative voices in our political system." -- Green Party Candidate for U.S. Senate, Aaron Dixon

Mr. Dixon began his political career early by marching with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to end housing discrimination in Seattle. As a young adult, he was appointed Captain of the Seattle Chapter of the Black Panther Party.

Following a career of working with minority youth and young adults, in 2002 he founded his own nonprofit organization, Central House, providing transitional housing for homeless young adults. Central House also has a Youth Leadership Project that operates at four Seattle public high schools.

Join us this week on Connects to find out more about Green Party candidate Dixon's thoughts on the Iraq war, free trade and the Patriot Act.

Here's how to voice your opinion. Call or e-mail

1. Why would I want to help a GOPer win the WA Senate seat?
Edited on Thu Mar-30-06 08:03 PM by BlueManDude
Yeah I'm sure he'd be real "independent" and disgusted with ll the "meaness" and "namecalling" if he ever made it to DC.

IMO the Democrats haven't enganed in enuf meaness and namecalling.

No GOPer is to be trusted.

Jeez is Cantwell that awful?
