Tens of thousands of New York Posts were dumped at two recycling centers !
Tens of thousands of New York Posts were dumped at two recycling centers yesterday morning, just hours after being printed, in a bizarre circulation ploy that has already come to the attention of newspaper circulation authorities.

An executive at a Brooklyn facility where at least 10,000 Posts were dumped said the papers would be sent to China, still wrapped in their original plastic binders.

Four vanloads of bundled Posts were unceremoniously thrown into the recycling plant in the Gowanus section at 6:30 a.m. without any attempt ever having been made to distribute them.

Several hours later, a large Penske truck containing another 10,000 still-bundled Posts was unloaded at a recycling center in Greenpoint.

2. NY Post is owned by Newscorp - Rupert Murdoch aka Fox News
It's a scam to overstate circulation for purposes of cheating advertisers by representing that they have more readers than they do.

It's a fraud.

13. No, because books get audited. Circulation doesn't.

4. on DU!
How do they recycle posts?

Daniel Hillis, didn't he, in his information theory,
posit that there is conservation of information, that
recycled posts eventually the light particle that represents
the data, would meet its anti-particle and cease to exist.

7. Well atleast it's getting recycled
I figured with something like the Post it would be trash, but recycling is a better way of getting rid of garbage.

9. rush limbah-humbug and anus coulter books in local 2nd hand store
them filthy tapeworms! The books are in pristine condition (though a lil swastika scrawled on the frontpiece helps change that) 4sale for a dollar...as someone who often forced to listen to a 'classic rock' radio station, even the radio playlists are spiked, i would be willing to bet. Bush election and continued existence suggests that the nypost ie media has been doing this for years, and radio/tv does not reflect popular culture, but a rightwing philosophy of what the tapeworm thinks popular culture should be!
They've been murdering president kennedy for a long long long long time, in public nudge wink

12. wasn't it found that O'Reilly's shows were being paid for?
When his show first started being syndicated, I believe it was discovered they paid for his time slot. I'm pretty sure that's the case.

We've long known about the r-w books being remaindered about two days after their intro to the marketplace. It's all a shell game that is crumbling, crumbling, crumbling...

Kinda' fun to watch, except for the murdered trees part.
