Delay Concern
Isn't Delay moving from the government side of K Street to the private sector side of K Street? Won't he be up to the same shenanigans, ie. funneling corruption money into the GOP? Has anything changed?

1. One hopes he's headed for the inside of a jail cell.

2. Depends if he ends up wearing an orange jumpsuit or not,
hopefully he will be in the klink and that will hamper his ability to work in DC.

8. Not necessarily.
Most of his compatriots and partners will be there with him. If a Don can run The Family from prison, why shouldn't he be able to maintain his influence? You know, smuggling out policy papers drafted on toilet paper; bribe to guards to pass messeges to Abramoff, down the block.

:evilgrin:

3. Unless he goes to jail, he and Grover can get back to filling that bathtub
There is supposedly a time-delay (one year?) between serving in Congress and lobbying, not that he's ever paid attention to the law or anything.

5. I see Orange Jumpsuits and Handcuffs in his future.
I don't think the K street players will have Delay doing his dirty work any time soon.:bounce:

7. If DeLay does go to the private side of K Street, how many Repugs
will be stupid enough to do business with him? The air around DeLay is only going to get dirtier, and I would think he'd be an albatross now. Being seen with him will surely cause most to think "corruption."

DeLay = corruption

As greedy as Repugs are, no doubt they'll stand firm on their (phony) Christian values, and befriend DeLay. May they all go down with him.
