Sorry, I can't cut and paste on this one. It appears to me that the "authorization" directly led to the conversations in which Plame was leaked, and in fact, Plame was leaked at the same meetings as the NIE info was leaked.

So we're supposed to believe that Bush authorized the NIE to be leaked, but not Plame? When both were disclosed by Libby at the same time? AFTER Libby had talked with a WH lawyer about the issue?

Maybe the filing doesn't say Bush leaked Plame, but IMO he did.

In either event, Libby is being prosecuted for obstruction, not leaking Plame. And Bush and Cheney might be guilty of the same, depending on what they told Fitzgerald. Might Fitzgerald have talked to Cheney and Bush about the NIE as well as Plame?
