if you cross your fingers as you put your hand on the Bible. If Jesus sees that, he won't send down a lightning bolt from heaven to zap you in the ass if you stretch the truth a bit here and there, because he knows it's really just a pretend oath, and in Shrub's case, it really is all in a good cause - defeating the heathen, satanic, evil-doing enemies of Jesus and the American way.
