3. Why would anybody be surprised? |
|
Just because he denied knowing who the leaker was for the last couple of years?

8. That 17% Yes Vote Represents Lost Base For Bush |
|
That's the good news. Think about it. Those people who are surprised he did that terrible thing were people who still had faith in him. This is going to be a terrible thorn in his side in that it will lead to further deterioration of his base.

11. Even if this were a legitimate poll ... |
|
...instead of a meaningless click-off, this would be a dumb question. How many people are willing to say, "Why yes -- I was surprised. I guess I must have been a naive fool all along." People always want to act like they knew it all along, whatever "it" was. It's why after-election polls always show that the percentage of people who say they voted for the winner overshoots the percentage that actually did.

17. There is anonymity in this poll and I see no reason why someone wouldn't |
|
answer honestly. Also, those who would be staunch shrub supporters would say Yes. Period.
This is a headline on the AOL Welcoming Screen and even though not scientific, I would think that the membership of AOL covers a wide demographics. I personally believe that the American people are awakening and this new revelation is adding to it. Thank goodness!

22. this one may be one of the final coffin nails in his lame duckedness. |
|
this is truly an 'i did not have sex with that woman' issue.
he came right out, played word games and lied to his constituents. "we" already didnt believe him but his followers did and he told them that he knew nothing, had nothing to do with it and was outraged and would 'fire the leaker'. some of those people are going to be damn insulted. they will not forgive him.
