Did Frist Really Say This?????? |
|
Hell, if we want to plant I.D. chips in people and torture their loved ones until they break, we will.<snip> "Of course raises some concerns, but we can't let this issue be blown out of proportion. Of course there have to be media guidelines. Hell, if we want to plant I.D. chips in people and torture their loved ones until they break, we will. I know the idea of governmental control over what the media can or cannot say during wartime may be an uncomfortable topic for some to digest, but it is a necessary fact of life when our enemies are trying to kill us."
Forcibly implanting chips and torturing loved ones? Wartime? Frist, like most in Washington, seems unfamiliar with the Constitution. The tenth amendment states, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Clearly, this includes any required implanting of chips and necessary torture of our loved ones.

It was a fake press release by some hip-hop label that was trying to sell music by making a point about censorship. It's guerilla marketing. :eyes: It's all baloney.
