...one thing that I think is really important for our citizens to understand is that when the President says something, he better mean what he says. In order to be effective, in order to maintain credibility, words have got to mean something. You just can't say things in the job I'm in and not mean what you say.

1. It was a really, really bad day for him to have held that media event
hours later the Libby defense ala Fitz was all over the news - and bush couldn't avoid it. Such an unfortunate choice of words he had just used in NC to a mostly supportive (but stoney looking through out much of his event) crowd.

what this is leading to--but quess that is the goal.
