5. Stand by for Decider!
Racing’ cross the heavens
Straight into the dawn
Looking like a comet
Slicing through the morn
Scorching the horizon
Blazing to the land
Now he’s here amongst us
The age of fire’s at hand

Stand by for decider
Salvation is his task
Stand by for decider
Salvation bids to ask

Everything he touches
Fries into a crisp,
Let him get close to you
So you’re in his trip,
First you’ll smoke and smoulder
Blister up and singe
When ignition hits you
The very soul of your being will cringe.

Stand by for decider
Salvation is his task
Stand by for decider
Here he comes now
Fall to your knees and repent if you please

Who is this man?
Where is he from?
Decider comes
For everyone.
You’ll never see him
But you will taste the fire upon your tongue

He’s come to make you snap out
Of the state that you are in
Looks around and make you
See the light again
So much self-indulgence
Results in shattered eyes
Predominant complacency
Leads to beguiling lies.

Stand by for decider
Salvation is his task
Stand by for decider
Salvation bids to ask

When he leaps amidst us
With combustive dance
All shall bear the branding
Of his thermal lance,
Cauterizing masses
Melting into one
Only when there’s order
Will his job be done.

Stand by for decider
Salvation is his task
Stand by for decider
Here he comes now
Fall to your knees and repent if you please

Who is this man?
Where is he from?
Decider comes
For everyone
You’ll never see him
But you will taste the fire upon your tongue

Racing past the heavens
Straight into the dawn
Looking like a comet
Slicing through the morn
Scorching the horizon
Blazing to the land
Now he’s here amongst us
The age of fire’s at hand

Stand by for decider
Stand by for decider
Stand by for decider
Stand by for decider

seems to have a kind of malignant narcissism -- where if you are uncertain or shamed, your sense of yourself just collapses and one of the things that drives you is to avoid that feeling at all costs. And, he seems to have some kind of autism going as well.

This is not a good mix for a head of state. :eyes:

18. The bush decider plan: First, make up lies. Then poorly forge stuff.
Next, tell lies based on the first lies and call it the truth. Then tell lies about lies. Pomote the best liars. Keep faithful liars lying and asking "Why do they hate America?" of those who don't believe the lies. Sneakily involve the lazy lying press in progandizing the lies. Spread the lies like jam in every possible direction. Pick a head lying agency, like oh, Faux. Morally annoint yourself the president truth teller about the liars and the lies. Loudly proclaim you are the ultimate decider of the best lies and stand by the liar that supported the lies for war first.

Truly simple...

My husband seems to be an Aspie, and he can be very pragmatic in this way. On the other hand, he is very very smart so he compensates amazingly well.

I don't think Junior has that kind of balance.

45. "I'm a Decider" a song modified from
I'm a Believer By Neil Diamond

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me.
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed.
Disappointment haunted all my dreams.

Then I saw her face, now I'm a decider
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love, I'm a decider!
I couldn't leave her if I tried.

I thought love was more or less a given thing,
Seems the more I gave the less I got.
What's the use in tryin'?
All you get is pain.
When I needed sunshine I got rain.

Then I saw her face, now I'm a decider
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love, I'm a decider!
I couldn't leave her if I tried.

50. Decider = Machine that always halts
Machine that always halts
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

In computability theory, a machine that always halts — also called a decider (Sipser, 1996) — is any abstract machine or model of computation that, contrary to the most general Turing machines, is guaranteed to halt for any particular description and input (see halting problem).

Bush did not read the book to the kids. They were reading it to him and he was supposedly following along. So for all we know, they were already ahead of him then.

Okay my German isn't that hot but you get the drift. In spite of his bad English he is saying in effect that he is the dictator and we have no say in his decisions.

I think when Rumsfeld goes and he will go, Bush should go with him. Because his vociferous defense of the cockroach tells me he knew all along what Rumsfeld was screwing up and he condoned it.

about how ** would DO anything to win, including changing the rules, so that he could "win". I believe it was in the context of sports? Wish I could remember where I read that. At any rate, it sounds like what ** has done his whole life, especially including his political career.

83. Well the "Decider" already said "this would be easier if this were
a dictatorship so long as I'm the dictator." I watched him say that on the floor of Congress on 12/18/2000 and I didn't think he was kidding then. In fact, I thought he was dead serious. If he thinks there is any chance of being impeached, I'm sure he will take the necessary steps toward dictatorship. Whatever it takes to keep his sorry butt out of trouble and keep the PNAC crowd on track, keep the war profits rolling in for the BFEE.

88. I do not understand why the DU is upset with Bush...
As the Chief of the All Powerful State, he gets to decide things like your innocence, when and whom to invade, what you should be doing in your homes, whether your home should be taken to make a new mini-mall, etc...

I don't understand why people are so up in arms now? Just because the dictator in office doesn't hold to some of your beliefs??? The whole history of the US Government has been to erode your rights, keep you down and under control.

The US Government has, since 1783, been slowly eradicating your rights. Certainly, there have been watershed years, at which time more destruction was done to the rights of Americans, the following come to mind: 1786, 1794, 1841, 1861-1865, 1876, 1894, 1914, 1917-1918, 1932, 1953, and 2000.

But, the tracks have been laid for years and it seems only under the * Junta, who like none before him abuses this power out in the open and with unabashed glee, does anyone care to take notice.

The State does not like you, the State will not help you, the State cares only about how much it can squeeze from you (not just monetary) before you are ground into fertilizer for the next batch of fresh meat...

VIDEO - Bush: I'm The Decider and I Decide What Is Best

This morning while announcing staff changes, President Bush explained the inner-workings of presidential authority:

Bush: ...and on Friday I stood up and said I don't appreciate the speculation about Don Rumsfeld. He's doin' a fine job. I strongly support him.

Reporter: What do you say to the critics who believe that you are ignoring the advice of retired generals and military commanders who say there needs to be a change?

Bush: I say I listen to all voices but mine's the final decision and Don Rumsfeld is doing a fine job. He's not only transforming the military, he's fighting a war on terror - He's helping us fight a war on terror. I have strong confidence in Don Rumsfeld. I hear the voices and I read the front page and I know the speculation but I'm the decider and I decide what is best and what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the Secretary of defense.

98. Breaking News: Bush Releases Pop Single
Breaking News: Bush Releases Pop Single
posted by Shakespeare's Sister | Tuesday, April 18, 2006

And once again, my top-notch secret sources have gotten me the scoop…

President Bush, suffering from plummeting approval ratings and desperate to generate some positive press, has recorded a new single, called “The Decider,” which puts a zany spin on his passionate defense of embattled Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. Said White House pressrobot Scott McClellan, “The president felt that, with Iraq persisting as an untenable quagmire, the domestic infrastructure in the toilet, investigations plaguing his administration, and the searing hatred of an increasing swath of the populace aimed in his general direction, it was time for some wacky hijinks.” Dion and the Belmonts, whose 1960’s hit “The Wanderer,” served as inspiration for the recording, could not be reached for comment.

The Decider

Well, I’m the type of guy who will always let you down
Where Rummy critics are, well, you know my disdain will abound
I hate ‘em and ignore ‘em, ‘cause to me they’re all the same
I hate ‘em and ignore ‘em; I don’t even know their names
They call me The Decider, yeah, The Decider
I spin around around around around around…

Well, there’s Rove on my left and there’s Cheney on my right
But Condi is the girl, yeah, that I’ll be with tonight
And when she asks me which one I love the best
I tear open my shirt and I got Rummy on my chest
‘Cause I’m The Decider, yeah, The Decider
I spin around around around around around…

Oh well I spin from town to town
I go through life without a care
I sound as dopey as a clown
With my head full of iron and I’m going nowhere

I’m the type of guy that likes to spin the media
I never read a book, not even the encyclopedia
And when I find the haters a-hatin’ on my chum
I tell them no one’s better than my buddy Donny Rum
‘Cause I’m The Decider, yeah, The Decider
I spin around around around around…

‘Cause I’m The Decider, yeah, The Decider
I spin around around around around…
