The only question: Did this guy peddle crack FOR Poppy Augustus and the Contras?

Or did he sell coke TO Chimperor Tiberius?

Maybe both.

7. This one looks fishy.
Mark Reuben Hale, Henderson, Texas
Offense: Savings and Loan fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1344
Sentence: July 10, 1991; Eastern District of Texas; three years' imprisonment

An S&L fraudster from Texas who would have done his crimes in the 80s? Wasn't Neil Bush, Chimpy's little brother, part of the whole S&L scandal at that time?

10. Democrats warn Bush about pardon power in 2005
WASHINGTON (AFX) - Democrats have called on US President George W Bush to rule out a possible pardon for indicted White House aide I Lewis 'Scooter' Libby if he is convicted on charges related to the unmasking of an undercover CIA agent.

'We're demanding President Bush make a commitment to the American people that he will not pardon Scooter Libby, who was involved in this mess, nor will he pardon anyone involved in this mess,' Agence France-Presse cited Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid as saying at a press conference.

'Unless a pardon is ruled out by President Bush, the American people will certainly not learn the truth' about who unmasked CIA agent Valerie Plame, he said.

A White House spokesman during a press briefing yesterday refused to categorically rule out a pardon for Libby, who until his resignation last month was the chief of staff to US Vice President Dick Cheney.

17. Presidents should NEVER EVER have the power to pardon their OWN
staff people.
That should be up to subsequent administrations. so many Iran Contra and Watergate people got off the hook through pardons. The public was HARMED by these people, and we deserved to at least know the truth about them and after being convicted, they deserved to serve their terms.

Perhaps presidents should only be able to pardon people of the OPPOSITE party.. That would be fun :)
