China 'selling prisoners' organs'
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 09:58 PM by joeunderdog
Top British transplant surgeons have accused China of harvesting the organs of thousands of executed prisoners a year to sell for transplants.

snip
Professor Stephen Wigmore, who chairs the society's ethics committee, told the BBC that the speed of matching donors and patients, sometimes as little as a week, implied prisoners were being selected before execution.

Professor Wigmore described this as quite widespread and growing.

He and his colleagues, he said, had all seen cases of British patients who had considered going to China for transplants. He really hoped, he added, that people would think very hard about whether they should.

Reporting on Organ Harvesting from Living Falun Gong Practitioners

The Epoch Times (Simplified Chinese: 大纪元; Traditional Chinese: 大紀元; Pinyin: Dàjìyuán) is an independent, politically conservative (by US standards) Chinese newspaper which is freely distributed in ten languages and in roughly 30 countries worldwide. According to the paper, its strength lies in China news reporting and its interest in human rights issues. Observers have noted the large amount of space it devotes to negative views on the Communist Party of China and mainland Chinese society, and content relating to groups opposed by the CCP such as Falun Gong.

3. This is nothing new...
They've been perpetuating this horror for quite a number of years. Supposedly, they make certain to shoot in the head to spare the vital and transplatable (sic) organs.
