Replacement for McClellan announced!
One candidate emerged with the skills and background necessary to lend a credible facade to the Bush administrations....

2. LOL, no doubt it will be someone equally as 'qualified' as your
candidate. I can only hope Snotty Scottie's replacement is, at least, amusing in spewing his/her lies.

26. Anybody is going to look amusing....
squirming on that podium trying to deflect Bushco's incompetence, and its only going to get better as the media start to turn up the heat. The media has been pathetic while Bush had power but now I think they are smelling blood, and that will lead to harder questioning of the new press secretary. Dig your teeth in boys, FRESH MEAT is on the table.

11. the last six years might have something to do with it.
Edited on Wed Apr-19-06 09:22 AM by TheBaldyMan
Ari Fleischer bailed just as Valerie Plame was outed, maybe Scottie has just been asked to do something equally heinous and he just can't stomach the job anymore.

edited for spelling

17. That would be plausible
if I could believe for a second that Scotty has the scruples that would be required for him to find doing something dishonest for the administration heinous.

10. He would be perfect.
They need somebody who can spout complete fabrications and laughable untruths. Because that's what a Bushco Spokesperson's job is.

27. Hmm... Dubya was a cheerleader himself!...
Perhaps to replace Whitehouse Cheerleader ('er "spokesman"), he'll pick someone that a) he's known for a long time, and b) was someone he knows is a good cheerleader. Perhaps one of those people on his Yale cheerleading squad shown here!
